There are numerous festivals observed in the village: Ramadan (Eid ul-Fitr), Bakr-Idd (Eid ul- Zuha), Muharram, Deepavali, Sankranti, Dasara, Ugadi, Vinayaka-Chaviti, and Christmas.The Siva Temple and Chinna Kesava swamy temple were constructed during the 10th century. There is a Veda Pathasala, for the propagation of ancient Vedas, maintained by the family members of the late Sri Tadepally Raghavanarayana Pandit. There is a special marriage hall for Muslims name Shaadi Kahana. Other buildings are being constructed, such as the Bandalama temple, which is a pilgrimage shelter, and the function hall.Politically Chandlole is the biggest village in the Bapatla constituency, and has two prominent parties: Congress and TDP.TV is the primary source of entertainment for villagers.
