In Coimbra it is the market leader, and in Porto it has a growing and significant portfolio, encompassing large scale developments, as well as a number of its own projects directed at niche markets.In the construction sector, with a view to maintaining levels of competitively, was initiated in 2004, a process of certification in the Areas of Quality and Safety, under the norms NPEN ISO 9001 : 2000 OHSAS 18001/NP 4397, being granted the accreditation APCER on 5/09/2005.At the end of 2004, was completed the acquisition of the installations in Porto, having, the following year affected the alteration of the SOFOZ name to Bascol, thus capitalizing on an image of quality and competence.Resulting from its accelerated growth and policy of geographic expansion, the Group increased the assets of the Holding in 2006, from 1,000,000 to 5,000,000 euros.At the beginning of the year 2008, Bascol opened offices in Lisboa, thus assuring a more consistent presence in the south of the country, and a sustained expansion in its activities.In parallel, was formed Bascol Angola and Bascol Brasil, beginning the process of internationalization of the Group in the area of property development.".
