- Alexandre_de_Betak abstract "Alexandre de Betak (born October 5, 1968) is a French fashion shows, events, and furniture designer. Dubbed the \"Fellini of Fashion\" by his peers, he includes Art Director, Producer, Scenographer, and Designer amongst his titles.Alexandre de Betak began his career in Paris breaking the boundaries between the worlds of fashion, art, and design. In the early 90’s, he established Bureau Betak, whose current studios are located in New York, Paris and Shanghai. Alexandre and his team have devised over 800 designs in the last 25 years, and has created events, shows and exhibitions for luxury brands such as Christian Dior, Victoria's Secret, Viktor & Rolf, Hussein Chalayan, Rodarte, The Row, Michael Kors, Diane Von Furstenberg, Moncler, Anthony Vaccarello, Isabel Marant, H&M, Roberto Cavalli, John Galliano, Berluti, Peter Pilotto, Lacoste, Jason Wu, Mary Katrantzou, Jacquemus, Hermes, Kanye West, Visionaire, Tiffany's, Hugo Boss, Lanvin, Givenchy, Donna Karan, Celine, Sybilla… among others, which include some of the most memorable fashion moments of the last two decades.Alexandre’s passion for design has lead him to design objects and spaces through prestigious collaborations with Artcurial, Swarovski, AD Magazine and Domeau Peres... He has unveiled such pieces as the life-size diamond silhouette of Gisele Bundchen, a bookshelf and a bench made of acrylic glass and leather, both of which were defined by their contours of lights for Domeau & Peres as well as the famous \"Disco Vespa\" made from mirrored glass for Artcurial. He also designed the Parisian restaurant Black Calavados, the \"Betak Disco Room\" for the Hotel Amour, Alex’s House & Garden above Le Baron in Shanghai, and his acclaimed house in Majorca, where he now makes series of unique pieces in raw stone, clay and technology.Alexandre created an new environment for AD Interieurs, taking place at Palais d’Iéna in Paris, September 5 to 20, 2015. Every year, Architectural Digest Magazine calls the best talents in interior design to participate in the exhibition that presents a great diversity of profiles as much as style. Illustrating the courageous sensitivities that define our times, Alexandre created a playroom which he defined as ‘Salon de joie’, \"a place to revel, relax, and enjoy\". Having always been fascinated by kinetic art, space and robots, he took this opportunity to create a projection room on the moon with a retro futuristic decor revolving around an extra large custom handmade nine square feet bed covered in bespoke cushions, his signature pillow pile, with specially created prints of the lunar soil with personal photographs and silouhetes, with matching wallpaper. Neons, ceiling mirrors and exquisitely curated kinetic art on the walls made the perfect environment for a joyful room in the center of Paris.Alexandre de Betak is at the helm of some of the most innovative and creative shows in the industry, although as he once said, \"My favourite show is the one I haven’t done yet\". An apt example of his constant pursuit for perfection. He has two children with model Audrey Marnay. In 2014, he married Argentinian Art Director Sofía Sanchez Barrenechea in Patagonia.".
