- Album_Artists abstract "Album Artists is an English art design group owned by Fraser Scott that specialises in creating cover art for the albums of musicians and bands, and making available original and limited edition artwork by celebrities. Notable clients include Coldplay, The Backstreet Boys and Paloma Faith. The company has sold all the album art for Coldplay's last three albums with the album cover of Mylo Xyloto selling for £500,000. Album Artists also put on exhibitions for artists such as Paloma Faith and The Backstreet Boys. Fraser Scott managed to get an article about Paul Normansell published in GQ Magazine which Brandon Flowers saw and a result, commissioned Paul for the art for the album Day and Age which won Rolling Stone Magazine's Best Album Art of the Year for 2008 and was nominated by NME for the same. This gave Fraser the idea for Album Artists. Fraser showed the work for The Killers to Coldplay's creative director who agreed for Album Artists to sell the art for Mylo Xyloto to raise money for charity. Album Artists sold £680,000 of Mylo Xyloto art, completely exceeding the band's expectations. Because of the success with Mylo, Album Artists was given the chance to pitch artists to Coldplay for Ghost Stories and the band picked the first artist Fraser pitched, Mila Furstova, who created the now iconic Ghost Stories wings cover. Album Artists then hosted an exhibition which Coldplay opened where they sold the art for Ghost Stories, again for charity.Album Artists just announced that they have again partnered with Coldplay to sell the art for A Head Full of Dreams, to help fund Coldplay's latest charitable venture, to help disadvantaged children in London.".
