Ridgway and thereafter in the United States Army Reserve, and Wellborn Jack, Sr., who from 1940 to 1964 represented Caddo Parish as a Democrat in the Louisiana House of Representatives.Jack and his wife, the former Roberta Stuart Pegues, had a daughter, Elizabeth Jack (1901-1912), born in Mansfield, who was killed at the age of eleven when she fell from a horse that she was exercising on Fairfield Avenue in Shreveport.
