Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1994 were used to build a light curve showing a slow rotation period of 58.66 ± 0.18 hours with a brightness variation of 0.27 ± 0.03 magnitude.It was named after the Trojan warrior, Deiphobus, son of Priamus (also see 108 Hecuba and 884 Priamus)."@en }
