He afterwards acquired a large practice of his own, and obtained a high reputation by discoveries in the curative part of his profession, especially in the treatment of ulcers and wounds.He published Descriptive Account of a New Method of treating Ulcers of the Leg (1797, dedicated to Anthony Fothergill), and An Account of a Successful Method of treating Diseases of the Spine (1813, dedicated to Edward Jenner).He died at Clifton on 31 August 1820.This link to BARBARA BAYNTON is not correct.
