- Rotary_Racer abstract "Rotary Racer is a Greenpower team which started in 2005 as an initiative within Chipping Sodbury School to try and get 'Lads and Dads' working together on a project to build and race their own electric racing cars. Ever since the team has grown, with 9 different cars being built within the past 9 years. The team are made up of both girls and boys, ranging between the ages of 11 and 18. The name Rotary Racer came from the team's first sponsors -Rotary International of Chipping Sodbury. This charity provided the funding needed to start the car from scratch and, ever since, have continued to sponsor the team each new season.
