- Nissan_Pathfinder_Off_Road_Association abstract "The Nissan Pathfinder Off Road Association (NPORA) was founded in 2000, as can be seen with the thousands of articles and online posts dating back 10 years. It began in the Pacific Northwest, as a small Nissan Pathfinder enthusiast club and its popularity excelled as members joined throughout the United States and Canada. It did not stop there however. Within the first six months, NPORA was known in Europe, Asia, and as far away as New Zealand and Australia. NPORA actually has a large member base that is now known on virtually every search engine around the globe and is synonymous with Nissan queries everywhere. With a registered membership base of over 6800 individuals around the world, NPORA has become a very well known entity in over 66 countries and members login daily from six continents to discuss mechanics, fabrication, events, and experiences. With well over a million hits per month, the non-profit organization is easy to find online. NPORA has multiple entry points through domains such as www.nissanpathfinders.com and www.nissanpathfinders.net. A Google search of simply NPORA will lead you directly to their online forums, help sections, photos, and video sections, as well as classifieds and Member's Pages. NPORA was founded by Jim Bennett of Marysville, Washington. One of the most noteworthy events in the club's history was the recovery of the founder's original Pathfinder, which was lost in a divorce and later located in a salvage yard. NPORA members in every corner of the world all donated cash, time, and materials to retrieve the Pathfinder (MrJim as he is known online). A local group of members all traveled to Arlington, Washington and purchased the Pathfinder. They transported it to a shop where they completely restored it to new condition and then presented it to MrJim at the 1st Annual MrJim Run, which was held in Tahuya, Washington in September 2009. To this day, there continues to be an annual MrJim Run every year in the Pacific Northwest at new locations chosen each year. The organization of NPORA has taken on a life and momentum of its own for many years now, and the membership base grows continuously larger (as does the site itself) every day. The site is administrated by an appointed team of Administrators and Moderators around the world, who all work together to make sure that everything runs seamlessly.REDIRECT Template:Unreliable source?↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑".
