In January 2011, the accrediting commission will act on the team’s recommendation regarding the reaffirmation of the colleges’ accreditation status for the next six years.Serving more than 100,000 students, it is the second-largest community college district in the state of California and one of the largest districts in the United States. City College became the third community college in the state and Mesa College is one of the largest in the state today.The District is in the midst of $1.555 billion in new construction and renovations at the three colleges and Continuing Education campuses throughout the city."@en }
