With 20 games for the selection of Zagreb, and he played 18 games for the national team of Yugoslavia. He made his debut on 28 October 1925 in the match against Czechoslovakia (0–7) in Prague, a last game played on 4 October 1931 v. Bulgaria (2–3) in Sofia Balkan Cup.
