In Korea G-philharmonic Orchestra under principle conductor Jabum Ku was performed all pieces with works by Jeajoon Ryu, into their regular concert. And it is the first time in living Korean composer.His Violin concerto and Sinfonia da Requiem recorded on Naxos International Label (2009) as well as Violin sonata on Telos Music (2010). He studied composition under Krzysztof Penderecki at Krakow Music Academy as well as under Kang, Suk-hi at Seoul National University. In 2015 he has been honored by the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage the Gloria Artis Medal. Currently, Jeajoon Ryu is Artistic Director of Seoul International Music Festival in Korea.
