After furloughing its US workers in late March 2013, Fisker Automotive filed for bankruptcy in November 2013, after the United States Department of Energy auctioned its debt and sold it to Hybrid Technology LLC for US$25 million.Following the sale of Fisker Automotive to the Chinese company Wanxiang, it was announced that the new owners planned to re-commence production by the end of 2014 or early 2015. In April 2015, it was rumored that Fisker owner Wanxiang Group will reintroduce the Karma under the name Elux Karma in 2016 for an estimated retail price of $135,000 USD."@en }
