Ahmed is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace. He is the older brother of Shehzad Ahmed.Having represented Denmark at Under-19 level, Ahmed was selected for Denmark's squad for the 2011 World Cricket League Division Three in Hong Kong, making his full international debut against Italy.
