Rounding out the points were the Lotus-Renaults of Elio de Angelis and Nigel Mansell in 4th and 6th respectively, the pair separated by the Ferrari of 1983 race winner René Arnoux who finished 5th.Nelson Piquet after the race \"climbed out of his car and collapsed on the ground\" due to a badly burned right foot from the race.
