Pointe Helbronner is served with the Funivie Monte Bianco, a cable car from La Palud, a village near Courmayeur in the Aosta Valley (Italy), and also with the Vallee Blanche Aerial Tramway leading to the Aiguille du Midi at a distance of 5 km (3.1 mi) which in its turn is the top station of the Téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi, the cable car arriving from Chamonix.Pointe Helbronner is also the starting point of a ski run via the Glacier du Géant and the Mer de Glace to Montenvers and even to Chamonix and the starting point of various routes to the mountains nearby. Many mountaineers stay at the nearby Refuge Torino.The station's platform offers a remarkable view over the Aosta valley and the Piedmont region. The French-Italian border splits this platform."@en }
