He made the conversion to pitching following the season, after attempting to convert to catcher. With the Jammers in 2010, Brady was 1-1 with 3 saves and a 1.59 ERA in 26 relief appearances. Among pitchers with more than five appearances, he had the best WHIP on the team with a 0.741 mark. The next season, he went 7-1 with 18 saves and a 1.99 ERA in 49 games between the Greensboro Grasshoppers and Jacksonville Suns, striking out 81 batters in 63.1 innings. He led the Grasshoppers in games finished (41), saves (18), hits per nine innings ratio (5.9) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (8.10, it also led the South Atlantic League). In his first taste of Triple-A, he was 0-2 with a 7.01 ERA in 17 games. Back with Arkansas in 2015, Brady was 7-7 with a 3.77 ERA in 32 games (19 starts). In his first extended foray as a starting pitcher, he walked only 12 batters in 119.1 innings, for a team-leading 9.42 K/BB ratio.
