In 2009, Weber wrote an article where he said that the IHR's efforts at Holocaust denial had been almost entirely ineffective, and as a result he was going to have the IHR focus on "Jewish-Zionist power" instead; many deniers were publicly furious with Weber because their efforts had been aimed at rehabilitating Nazism in general and Adolf Hitler specifically, and their general appreciation of anti-Israeli/Jewish groups that also espoused Holocaust denial (such as the Iranian government and Hezbollah) did not mean they wanted those groups to become the anti-Jewish vanguard instead of revived National Socialism."@en }
