Callan-Thompson lived and worked mostly in London having arrived in 1960 at the age of sixteen. Whilst there she was member of Stephen Abrams' SOMA Research Association, the Notting Hill Free School, Racial Adjustment Action Society as well as other lesser known political, magical and social/community groups of the time. She worked closely with both Alexander Trocchi, Michael X and other less known counter-cultural personalities such as Terry Taylor and Francis Morland. While working around the Murray’s Cabaret Club, she was also friendly with Christine Keeler and others caught up in the Profumo Affair. Towards the end of the 1960s she lived in India and the United States where she joined Shri Guru Maharaj Ji's Divine Light Mission which she was a part of until she died in London (at home in a Notting Hill pad) in December 1979 aged 35.She was survived by her son Stewart Home."@en }
