Ten years later, on April 30, 1947, President Harry S Truman nominated Collet to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, to a seat vacated by Kimbrough Stone. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on July 8, and received his commission the next day. Collet served on that court until he died in Kansas City, Missouri."@en }
