In March 2011 Joe was dual registered at Lewes FC in the Conference South, before eventually joining Bromley FC. After joining Staines on a short term deal, he moved on to Havant & Waterlooville F.C. in February 2012. On 28 April 2012, Dolan scored an injury time winner against his previous club, Staines Town to save Havant and Waterlooville from relegation.He was released by the Havant in May 2012.
