Warman trained in print journalism at the Birmingham Post and Mail.He has spent most of his television career at ATV and Central, presenting regional news programmes. He was also a regional presenter on Yorkshire Television from 1976 to 1979. During this time he presented Britain's first breakfast programme Good Morning Calendar in 1977. In 1979 Bob returned to Associated Television who he had originally joined in 1973 following a previous position at BBC Radio Birmingham to work on ATV News, and when ATV became Central in 1982, Warman presented the West edition of Central News. In 1989, he hosted the Sky TV version of The Price Is Right. As of February 2009, Warman now presents a pan-regional edition of ITV News Central alongside Sameena Ali-Khan. As well as this, he also presents the later sub-regional edition of Central Tonight from Monday to Wednesday. In February 2012, he signed to a part-time contract, presenting from Monday to Wednesday, with Matt Teale taking over on Thursday and Friday."@en }
