Ted Epstein left the band in 1996 and the remaining members put Blind Idiot God on hiatus as they searched for his replacement.In 2001, Blind Idiot God reunited after roughly a decade of inactivity, with Tim Wyskida (of Khanate) replacing Epstein. In 2008-2010 Blind Idiot God recorded their fourth Album, Before Ever After in studios in New Jersey; Barber Shop, and Orange Sound. Gabriel Katz departed in 2012 and was replaced by New York veteran bassist Will Dahl, making Andy Hawkins the only original member still performing in the band. Blind Idiot God's album Before Ever After was released on February 24, 2015, and the new lineup did three live shows in New York to coincide with the release."@en }
