His father late Mozammel Hossain, popularly known as Suba Miah was for sometimes President of Kolapara Union of Bikrampur. His mother late Sufula Begum (Chappa) was the granddaughter of Khan Bahadur Khabirullah – an eminent patron of education being the head of a very educated and enlightened family.
