The U.S. played a total of two matches during this tournament and lost both, failing to qualify for the semifinals. Staple has claimed the most wickets in ODI matches for the U.S., having taken two, and holds the best bowling figures, with 2/76 (two wickets for seventy-six runs) against New Zealand.
