It orbits the Sun at a distance of 2.2–3.2 AU once every 4 years and 4 months (1,590 days). Its orbit shows an eccentricity of 0.19 and is significantly inclined by 29 degrees to the plane of the ecliptic. It has a rotation period of 7.2 hours and an albedo of 0.040–0.08, based on the space-spaced observations carried out by IRAS, Akari, and WISE/NEOWISE.The minor planet was named after the Latin name of the city of Warsaw, capital of Poland.
