- St._Johns_GAA_(Duhallow) abstract "St.John's GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the Aubane & Kilcorney area of County Cork Ireland.. Founded in 2010 the club represents the former GAA clubs of Aubane & Kilcorney Both clubs had disbanded by the late 1980s and it was over 20 years before football returned to the slopes of Mushera where St Johns Well is located and was the inspiration for the new club's name. The club plays Gaelic football in the Duhallow division competitions.St. Johns reached the Duhallow Junior B Football Championship final in 2012 and lost to Kiskeam 2–9 to 2–3 in Mallow. In 2014 they also reached the decider, this time going under by 3-06 .to 1-08 to Freemount.jordan has lost 2 finals in his reign of terror there but he said at the start of the championship season he had got over the loss to dave Collins freemount side last year who were a very well drilled side. St. John's are noted for goalkeeper Jordan Harris, who lead them to victory over his native Lismire in the 2015 Championship after scoring 4–11 (0-03 f) to keep 'the Johns' in the Championship. Jordan's younger brother, Stephen Harris, who plays at centre forward, is also credited as one of the club's main assets, as he kicked 24 points from play in a challenge game against Glenlara. The Harris duo have been compared to the Aidan and Seamus O'Shea duo on the Mayo Senior Football team.In August 2015, Jordan Harris was accused of smoking cannabis during a challenge match and was handed a 2-game ban by the Duhallow GAA board. The ban was later rescinded due to the great need of him to the team, he is in his 5th year in his player/manager role at the club with the addition of his brother Stephen this year but even with the 2 of them playing they still got beat in the semi final in the championship to the mity drom city but that shows no humiliation as Drom city won the competition out but having Jordan and his brother Stephen sent off in the game due to attempting to rob the referee whistle, did not help their cause. However the duo did say in the after match press conference that they will next year be on their best behaviour. Jordan Harris will be in his 6th year at the helm with reports of John Sheehan opting to come in as his co-manager/player role and it is rumoured he will slit in centre back.".
