His best seasons as a receiver were 1951, with 34 catches for 491 yards and 1952, with 31 catches for 551 yards. He was league leading kicker, scoring 69 points in 1952 and 66 points in 1953, winning the Dave Dryburgh Memorial Trophy. He was an all-star these 3 seasons. In 1955 he joined the Montreal Alouettes and scored another 60 points. He finished his career with the Ottawa Rough Riders and Calgary Stampeders. He scored 334 total points.Korchak was elected to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Hall of Fame in 1996. He died February 5, 2010."@en }
