The 125 Group, under the banner of Project Miller, have now started work to return it to running order. As part of this move, it was re-registered as Class 43/9 locomotive 43000.41001 was one of the attractions at the NRM's "Railfest" event in June 2012.Following it's visit back to York for Railfest 41001 returned to Neville Hill Depot in Leeds where the Project Miller team started restoration in earnest. Once the major physical work of replacing the engine, rewiring and other body attention had been completed the loco was moved to it's current home at the Great Central Railway (Nottingham) at Ruddington where it is now based and where restoration is ongoing.It is planned that 41001 will attend both the Swanage Railway and Didcot Railway Centre Diesel Galas in May 2014.".
